Happy 400^th birthday New York!  To help the Big Apple celebrate its anniversary, Bloomingdales will be selling limited edition tees by your favorite designers.  Just to name a few, Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Stars, Tory Burch, and Elizabeth and James (tee pictured above) have all created tees to make this occasion memorable.  Michael Kors shows his love for New York with a specialty eco-friendly tote that is my favorite! Take It All Off: Hair-free for Bikini Season

In this pity-pitted episode of TMI Weekly, I put myself out there by showing you my stubbed underarm hair, so those of you with the same problem won’t be embarrassed to address those embarrassing hairy spots.

Mary Rambin is wearing a dress from Bilingual Clothing’s Fall 09 collection!

Our favorite funny lady Chelsea Handler wore Bilingual Clothing’s racerback top in Millennium print dark grey on Monday night’s Chelsea Lately episode on the E! channel. She interviewed Betty White and it was hilarious!

Kristen Chenoweth was the first Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked. I have a special affinity for Wicked not only because it’s a great play and our client Kaia Peterka designed a bag for them, but also because my dad’s best friend’s brother is Gregory Maguire who wrote the play. I never caught Kristen’s show Pushing Daisies, but I heard good things about it and hope it comes back.

Kristen was actually familiar with Anoname when she showed up to the gift lounge, as her stylist Brian Primeaux had put her in some a couple years ago. Hope she likes the new washes and fits that she picked up in the lounge!

Marcia Gay Harden (who later this day won a Tony for her performance in God of Carnage — I need to see it!), stopped by with her daughter Eulie (ne Eulala Grace Harden Scheel) and they were too cute together. We offered to give Eulie a pair of jeans as well and the funniest exchange ensued:

Me to Eulie: Do you like clean wash or distressed?

Marcia: Oh they don’t let her wear ripped up jeans at school

Eulie: Mom! Yes they doooo!

Marcia: Oh, sorry, her mom doesn’t let her wear ripped up jeans (laughing)

We were all laughing in the end, but thought it was a cute exchange worth sharing.

This was actually a running theme throughout the day of the mom vs. daughter opinion on ripped jeans. Kate Burton (played Ellis Grey on Grey’s Anatomy) told us how her mother always made fun of her when she was younger for wanting to get new jeans that looked like they were old, ripped up jeans. But yet she knew best to pick out a pair for her daughter with some cool rips and tears :)

Here I am helping Lauren Graham pick out some Anoname jeans. She is also just how you’d picture her in person — bubbly, friendly, and excited about fashion. You can tell she and her co-star Oliver Platt have a great relationship because they were asking each other’s advice on their gift choices. I know Lauren will look great in Anoname and I look forward to sending her more in the future.

Ugly Betty is one of my favorite shows, and Mark Indelicato’s Justin character really makes the show, second to America Ferrera of course. Mark is just as you’d picture him in real life. Incredible energetic, uninhibited, excited about fashion and creating his own look. Not surprisingly he wanted a pair of Anoname instead of Cult of Individuality. Not only is he thin, but he prefers more fitted styles. He chose a pair of bootcut for a flared look and a pair of distressed skinny jeans for the rocker look. Jeff Daniels’ laid-back style and demeanor is great for Cult of Individuality so we were excited to give him some jeans. Designer Ron Poisson is a big Dumb and Dumber fan, especially since it took place in his home state of Rhode Island, so the two of them had a good laugh about that, even though the film wasn’t actually SHOT there, is still showcased the state very well. Jeff Daniels is now starring in God of Carnage with James Gandolfini, Hope Davis and Marcia Gay Harden (who won a Tony for her performace!).

Broadway great Harvey Fierstein stopped by dressed dapper in his tux and picked out some Cult of Individuality jeans despite telling us that he didn’t think they will fit him. Worth a try, right? Mrs. Doubtfire was a fave movie of mine growing up and it was fun to meet him.

Here I am helping Edie Falco pick out some Anoname jeans. She is really cool and stunning in person, even despite being dressed casually for Tony rehearsals. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and was fun to hang out with for the couple minutes she shopped for jeans with us. Looking forward to checking out her new Showtime drama Nurse Jackie.
