Style House Public Relations Spring 2015 College Internship

Agency and Internship Description:

Style House PR is a boutique fashion, beauty and lifestyle PR firm in Manhattan. For our Spring 2015 internship program, we are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated college students who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of the industry through this internship experience.

Interns will learn about a variety of PR practices ranging from brand positioning to press outreach. They will assist with sample pulls for beauty and fashion editors, stylists, and elite bloggers, as well as client-specific research projects, and tracking of press coverage. Interns will also be encouraged to join in the development of creative pitches and campaigns. Interns will have the opportunity to work on events, attend market appointments, and build industry relationships.

Internship Specifications:

This internship is unpaid and interns must be enrolled in school and eligible to receive school credit. The internship is part-time, with a minimum requirement of 2 full days per week (from 10am-6pm).  

Applicant Requirements:

  • Enrolled as a full or part time student for the Spring 2015 semester, with two semesters of college course work completed prior to the Spring 2015 semester
  • Demonstrated interest in PR and the fashion or beauty industry. This can be either through coursework, past work or internship experience
  • Excellent technical and creative writing skills
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, including: Word, Power Point and Excel. Knowledge of Photoshop preferred but not required
