  1. If you get a stain, don’t use water or seltzer. Applying water or seltzer to certain fabrics may cause the colors to run.
  2. Don’t rub on a stain. Use an absorbent cloth and blot only. Rubbing can cause color loss or chaffed fabric. This is especially true on silk.
  3. Don’t use salt to attempt stain removal. It won’t help at all and may make the stain more difficult to remove.
  4. If you get an oil stain and must get it out right away, put a little cornstarch or baby powder on the stain. Let sit for about 15 minutes and brush away. If the stain remains send to Jeeves after the holiday!
