in case you have any stain disasters during your feast.
- If you get a stain, don’t use water or seltzer. Applying water or seltzer to certain fabrics may cause the colors to run.
- Don’t rub on a stain. Use an absorbent cloth and blot only. Rubbing can cause color loss or chaffed fabric. This is especially true on silk.
- Don’t use salt to attempt stain removal. It won’t help at all and may make the stain more difficult to remove.
- If you get an oil stain and must get it out right away, put a little cornstarch or baby powder on the stain. Let sit for about 15 minutes and brush away. If the stain remains send to Jeeves after the holiday!
